Screens of the future

“Screens of the future” is a new section and it will become a regular fixture at CFF. Designed as a forum for exchange and encounter, it is dedicated to young filmmakers and professionals from Africa and the Arab World.

This Rendez-vous is set up for young talents working on creative and original projects, offering propositions in both aesthetic fields and tools of production and distribution.

Faithful to the founding principles of the Carthage Film Festival, this resolutely alternative section aims to give greater visibility to original works and to promote the emergence of new creative ways, helping young authors to bypass the prevailing production systems.

A lab of ideas open to innovative productions, Screens of the Future will create synergies between complementary activities. It will look into new modes of production and distribution, create a linkage with broadcasters and debate working conditions and prospects for new production methods and resources pooling.

Screens of the Future will cater for filmmakers whose works were first distinguished and working on a new project. This forum is an opportunity to identify and support the talents of tomorrow and provide favorable conditions to share experiences, develop projects and benefit from new distribution channels.
