18 movies in competition
50 years already is something to celebrate. The Carthage Film Festival, incubator of Arab and
African talents, is growing and strengthening its opening requirements to the world beyond the African
continent through confronting views and mutual exchange.
The first edition of Carthage Cine-Promise was a great challenge.
After a successful trial run at the 26th edition of the Carthage Film Festival, Carthage Cine-Promise
renews the appointment with young filmmakers from film schools around the world.
Devoted to the freshness of youth, this section aims to discover and put forward new talents through
the programming of short films made by students in film schools of diverse horizons.
Carthage Film Promise is an international competition open to feature films, animation and
documentaries.
The international jury of the short film section will awards the Carthage Cine- Promise prize for best film
at the official closing ceremony of JCC.
