Synopsis

Samia, 15, lives near Marseille. She is the sixth of eight children of an immigrant very traditional Algerian family with strict beliefs about what represents a good education for girls. Different from her sisters, Samia cannot count on success in school. Nevertheless, she will put forth all her energy, all her rebellion, towards choosing her own path in life.
