Alya ARASOUGHLY - Palestine : Membre


Director, Alia Arasoughly is also general manager of Shashat (Screens), an NGO in Ramallah in favour of circulation of films and Director of the Palestinian Women’s Film Festival.

She co-organized and co-curated with the Film Society of Lincoln Center, the centennial of Arab cinema (1996) as well as co-organizing the first retreat between Arab filmmakers and Arab critics in Morocco (1997). She translated and published «Screens of life: critical cinematographic essays on the Arab world».

Her credits include «After the last sky» (2006), «The Clothesline», (2006).
