Ridha BÉHI - Tunisie : Membre


Ridha BÉHI Born in 1947 in Kairouan, Tunisia, Ridha Béhi is a director, scriptwriter, producer and teacher at ESAC.

With a degree from l’Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes (Paris), he began his filmmaking career in 1968 with the short film, «La femme statue». His feature films, «Soleil des hyènes» (1975), «Les Anges» (1983), «Champagne amer» (1986), «Les Hirondelles ne meurent pas à Jérusalem» (1994), and «La Boîte magique» (2002), are all milestones in his search for feasibility as a producer which he also is. His project, Brando and Brando, was halted with the death of the actor. In 2006-2008 he filmed a documentary series «Portraits de cineastes».
