Synopsis

Brahim meets Leila by chance. It is because of her that 20 years earlier, he committed a murder and had to flee Jordan to seek refuge in Lebanon. He will now return home, to face his past and his family. Forced to navigate between truth and myth, between shame, revenge and honor killings, how far will Brahim go to regain its dignity?

Réalisateur

Born in Lebanon, Jean-Claud Codsi graduated from INSAS cinemas school in Brussels. He was the assistant of Borhane Alaouiyé on Kafar Kassem and his editor on his docudramas. He has taught since 1997 at the Institute of audiovisual studies at Saint Joseph University of Beirut. Films: Ana el Awan (1994) and Insanon Charif (Man of Honor) (2011)
