Synopsis

The film begins with the voice of Souleymane Cissé, Malian filmmaker, a voice that says "I" in a beautiful language, poetic and compelling. For nearly an hour, a man speaks in the name of a continent. The questions he raises are political, metaphysical, but also aesthetic. Excerpts from "Baara", "Finye" and "Yeelen" are inserted in the assembly of Dominique Villain.

Réalisateur

Director Cambodian director, Rithy Panh graduated from the IDHEC, France. He started his career by directing documentaries: Site II (1989), Cinéma de notre temps: Souleymane Cissé (1990), Cambodge entre guerre et paix (1992).
