Pierre ABI SAAB Président Jury - LEBANON

Pierre ABI SAAB Journalist and critic who lived and worked between London, Paris and Beirut.

Pierre Abi Saad is a specialist in Arab cinema, visual arts, theatrical arts, and an attentive observer of the literary, artistic and cultural life in the Arab world.

He co-founded Al- Akhbar, a pan-Arab daily paper based in Beirut. Currently deputy editor of this newspaper, and Head of Arts, Culture and Media.



Raja AMARI - TUNISIA

Raja AMARI Femis graduate, Raja Amari directed two short films April and One Night in July.

Her first award wining feature film, Red Satin, selected at Berlin Film Festival earned Raja Amari critic and audience acclaim.

Her second feature film Buried Secrets was selected at the 66th edition of Venice Film Festival in 2009 and won numerous international awards. She just directed for Arte Tunisian Spring.



Khadija AL SALAMI - YEMEN

Khadija AL SALAMI Khadija Al Salami is Yemen's first female director.

She has made over 25 documentaries for various TV stations in France and Yemen and received several awards at various film festivals worldwide.

Till 2011 she was the Press Counselor and Director of Communication and Cultural Center at the Embassy of Yemen in Paris.



Reda BEN JELLOUN - MOROCCO

Reda BEN JELLOUN Reda Benjelloun began his career as a consultant in a law firm before starting as a journalist in TV 2M (Morocco) first as a reporter, then as a news anchor and news magazine producer.

He launched a weekly documentary tv program : Des Histoires et des Hommes a weekly program broadcasted every Sunday evening at prime time.



Ousmane William MBAYE - SENEGAL

Ousmane William MBAYE Ousmane William Mbaye is a highly acclaimed Senegalese documentary director. His first short film «L'Enfant de Ngatch» won the Bronze Tanit at Carthage Film Festival.

Mbaye is part of the Aesthetic Movement «Green eye» which tends to promote South-South cinematographic cooperation.

His film President Dia, won the gold Tanit at Carthage Film Festival and the 3rd Prize at FESPACO.
