Official Competition Short Film

19 movies in competition

the Carthage Film Festival and short films, two entities with one single momentum that offer the public a window on film creation and stimulate innovative talents.
Fiction, documentary or animation, short films are creative and inventive. Often free and bold, they convey values that the Carthage Film Festival continues to promote.
From the beginning, will and duty drive the Festival to support and accommodate Arab and African filmmakers nurtured in their cultural diversity.
The official competition «JCC Short Films», brokered by a jury of international scope, will highlight the different writings and visions of emerging talents. Their films today illustrate the vitality of the Festival and the Arab and African cinema of tomorrow.
