Ousmane William Mbaye is a Senegalese director,. He first started as Sembene’s assistant. In 1979 he made his first short film, awarded with the GoldenTanit at Carthage Film Festival. Since 2000, he has started working on documentaries, revealing the hidden memories of Senegal.
