«Exiles» tells the personal story of the director who grew up in Tunisia and who has been exiled since his 18’s. The film is an exploration through the story of three people of the relation to oneself and to each others within the complex context of immigration and exile.

Marwen Tlili is a Tunisian living in Quebec. His identitys is inspired by multi-cultural background. Besides being an engineer, he also studied political sciences and anthropology. He chose art to share his individual, collective and ancestral experiences.
