For three days darkness has reigned and part of the Earth lacks sunlight. A barrier has been raised against illegal immigration from the dark. Diseases proliferate; one interests the authorities. Ali is accused of killing his friend Saman and brought to the scene of the crime for a reconstitution.

Born in Marand, Iran in 1977, studied film at Sooreh University, Tehran, then began making short films. His feature debut Ashkan, The Charmed Ring And Other Stories (2009) was followed by Fish & Cat(2013) which won a Special Jury Prize at the Venice International Film Festival, screened at over 60 festivals worldwide and was a huge box-office hit in Iran.
