A night watchman loves a widow in his neighbourhood. He accidentally sees a local resident painting her portrait, so he thought he is having an affair with her. Fired by jealousy, he asks the widow to marry him, but she refuses.

Iraqi actor, director and author. Born in Baghdad in 1924. He participated as an actor and writer in the “The Thirsties” 1973, alongside several entries in Iraqi films. His film "The watchman" won the Silver Tanit at the Carthage Film Festival 1968. He died in the Netherlands in April 2015.
