Lebanese Sadek Sabbah is a distinguished films and television series producer and distributor with over 40 years of experience in the Arab film and television industry.
In 1981, Sadek joined the family business for the first time, and in 2000 he was president of the Sabbah Brothers group initially founded by his grandfather in Cairo and Beirut, to produce successful TV series and world-renowned Arab films. , whether Egyptian, Lebanese, Syrian, Moroccan, Saudi or Tunisian, and co-produced with France and Germany.
A number of films that the company has chosen to distribute, such as the Lebanese film «Caramel» and the Egyptian film «Mawlana», have also won several awards at various international festivals.
And despite the amount of “Sabbah Brothers” productions, Sadek Sabbah was keen to devote time discovering new talents and developing their skills. Like what he did through the “Masrah Masr” project, a project which has been acclaimed and which was adopted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, within the program of the “Saudi Theater”, in order to produce dozens of plays every year. The same relocation was also established in Morocco.
It should be noted that producer Sadek Sabbah is also a member of the Union of Producers, Distributors and Importers of Films and other television works in Lebanon. He is also a member of the Chamber of Film Industry in Egypt.
He has been honored, on several occasions, for his contributions in the television and film production in Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates and other Arab countries. He received his last prize in Egypt, the «City Appreciation Award» on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the Egyptian Media Production City.
He has also been on the cover of the international magazine «Broadcast pro», which highlights the best personalities in media and television, an honorary distinction which reflects the considerable effort that Sabbah invests in his television productions and humanitarian and national contributions.
Moreover, he was also ranked in the Variety 500 index as one of the most influential names in the business world and as one of the most important leaders in the media industry all over the world.
Sadek Sabbah’life is a success story, but it is also the story of a struggle that was born in Lebanon but which traveled to the Arab world and then to the whole world. His greatest goal remains to continue his cherished mission whose motto is to honor the past and promote the future.
