Synopsis

Thandeka, journalist, lives in fear of Johannesburg’s past. She’s so troubled that she can’t work, One day Me’Tau, an elderly woman, arrives at the newspaper’s office. Ten years earlier, Thandeka witnessed the murder of Me’Tau’s daughter, by the secret police. Me’Tau wants Thandeka to find the murderers and Dineo’s body.

Born in 1955 in Durban, Ramadan Suleman is a South-African director and producer. He made a documentary film “EZIKHUMBENI” (1985) and a short-length feature “THE DEVIL’S CHILDREN” (1990). Then, He directed his first feature film “FOOLS” which won multiple prizes including the Léopard d’Argent (Locarno 97).
