Polo has been roaming in the streets of Ougadougou since the age of 12. Today he is 29 and is desperately looking for a job. Any job requires having an ID. To have an identity card requires a birth certificate which was left behind with his uncle in the village.

Simplice Herman Ganou was born in August 1974. He is director and screenwriter in Burkina Faso and worked as an educator of street children. He joined an MA in Documentary Filmaking at the Gaston Bergé University of Saint Louis in Senegal in 2010.
