WORKSHOP - DIT LIVE GRADING - SLIM LARNAOUT

Salle Jeunes Créateurs – City of Culture

Digital cinematography enables (and sometimes even requires) post-production related activities to be taking place already on the film set. If you think about data backup of camera footage, dealing with “log” signals, or even transcoding dailies on set, all these things have become quite common to do on set, thanks to the DIT (Digital Imaging Technician).

The job of the DIT (aka PrePost on set) is constantly evolving, and to that evolvement, this workshop was created. In this workshop we want to focus on such an activity: The interactive work with the digital look of camera images on set, also known as “live grading”. This activity is becoming increasingly popular for productions to do on set, we will point out the immediate benefits of the DIT & Live Grading, and show how they can affect your next project.

This workshop is designed for Camera Assistants, DP’s, Editors, Colorists, Art Directors, Producers, Directors and even DIT's that want to gain further knowledge of On-Set (PrePost) Dailies workflow and live grading.
