Yasmine Kassari

Yasmine Kassari is a director, screenwriter, and producer. In 1995, she filmed a short fiction film "Stray Dogs", for which she received several awards, including best short film at the 1996 Turin International Film Festival. She graduated in 1997 from INSAS in Brussels. In 1999, she directed a documentary entitled "When the men cry". Then in 2004, she shot her first feature film entitled "The Sleeping Child" for which she received more than fifty international awards, including the Best European Film Award at the Venice Mostra 2004. She is also the manager of her production company in Oujda, Morocco, and the administrator of the Belgian production company, '''Les films de la drève.ction'' Currently, Yasmine is preparing her second feature film, "Manuela".
